Carreg Icelandics We are based amidst the rolling hills of the Welsh/English border where we devote a major part of our lives to 'things Icelandic'. We have a small but expanding flock of Icelandic sheep, which we keep for their wool and to make our Icelandic horses feel at home! Both compliment our online retail business, Carreg Yarns, which specialises in the sale of the unique Istex Icelandic Lopi wool.

Items for Sale **We have 6 registered purebred polled yearling Icelandic ewes for sale at £120 each, with discount negotiable if more than one purchased. Colours mainly white, but possibly also a pale moorit and a grey. Also for sale for £150 is a registered purebred Icelandic yearling ram - Carreg Logi - pale to mid moorit with white on face. He is horned, but due to breaking one horn the horns are different lengths. Logi has the same sire as the yearling ewes.** For details of wool for sale, please visit our website.

Fernbourn Flock of Pedigree Icelandic Sheep Stronsay, Orkney is the home of Fernbourn Fleeces and Unicorn Uniques hand crafted textiles.

I keep a small flock of Pedigree Icelandic sheep entirely for their beautiful fleece, breeding for colour range and length for hand-spinning and weaving. The amazing colour variation within each individual fleece also enables parts of it to be used for dyeing with natural dyes.

Items for Sale Icelandic fleece for sale (by post); unwashed, washed, or pre-combed and separated, depending on your requirements; variety of colours, please phone for details. No textiles for sale at present. I am happy to discuss the sheep, textiles, or anything to do with hand-spinning, weaving, or dyeing.

Cae'rddraig Icelandic Sheep I have been breeding pedigree registered Icelandic sheep since 1986, high in the hilly Uplands of North Wales - the mystical land of castles and dragons. My sheep live outdoors all year round, and lamb outdoors too.

I try and maintain all the earth colours within my flock so that I have plenty of colour choices in the fleeces.

Read more about my sheep and see photographs of them at www.icelandicsheepinwales.co.uk

I am the Secretary, Flock Book Compiler, and Newsletter Editor of the British Icelandic Sheep Breeders Group.

Items for Sale **I currently have for sale a 2 year old registered horned moorit Icelandic ram and a registered 3 year old horned grey Icelandic ram. Both are unproven. £200 each. My 2008 lambing period started on 13 May, and I hope to have lambs for sale later in the year.**

I also have washed fleece, carded fleece, crocheted shawls, Icelandic sheep note cards for sale - see my website for full details and photographs.
